Adult Safeguarding, Neglect and Abuse concerns protecting adults with care and support needs who may be at risk of harm, exploitation or inadequate care. Concerns may involve physical, emotional, financial or sexual abuse, neglect, or failures to recognise and respond to warning signs. Independent expert witnesses can assess safeguarding procedures, risk assessments, care standards, reporting, escalation and the consequences of alleged failures in Adult Social Care and Clinical Negligence proceedings.
