Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) & Functional Care Expert Witnesses

Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Functional Care concern a person's ability to manage essential everyday tasks, including washing, dressing, eating, toileting and moving safely. Assessment considers physical and cognitive limitations, the level of assistance required, and appropriate equipment or adaptations. Independent expert witnesses can evaluate functional dependency, the adequacy of care provision, support costs and future needs in Clinical Negligence, Personal Injury and Adult Social Care proceedings.
