Professor Hasib Ahmed is a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist and expert witness at Medway Maritime Hospital, NHS Medway NHS Foundation Trust, where he has served as a consultant since 1997. He is recognised for his expertise in advanced gynaecological endoscopic surgery, minimally invasive techniques, colposcopy, urogynaecology, fertility, endometriosis and post-reproductive endocrinology, providing comprehensive care across a broad spectrum of obstetric and gynaecological conditions.

With over 28 years of consultant experience, Professor Ahmed's clinical practice encompasses the diagnosis, investigation and management of both routine and complex gynaecological conditions, with a particular focus on advanced endoscopic surgery and minimally invasive approaches that improve patient outcomes and recovery. His expertise also encompasses the timely diagnosis and treatment of gynaecological cancer, including the importance of meeting the mandatory national Faster Diagnosis Standard.
