His current clinical practice focuses on the assessment and operative management of complex spinal pathology, including lumbar laminectomy, microdiscectomy, revision decompression, cervical myelopathy surgery, thoracolumbar decompression, instrumented lumbar fusion, posterior cervical stabilisation and spinal trauma.

He has extensive operative experience acquired through advanced fellowship training in leading UK and Australian tertiary spinal centres. This encompasses key areas of adult spinal surgery and defined experience in paediatric spine exposure within fellowship practice. He manages a broad spectrum of degenerative, traumatic, oncological and revision spinal pathology. Medico Legal Experience Summary

Mr Bhoresh Dhamija has been undertaking medico legal work since 2025 and accepts instructions in personal injury claims. His medico legal practice focuses on adult claimants, with particular relevance to cases involving spinal injury, complex spinal surgery, traumatic spinal pathology and neurosurgical deterioration.

He is able to provide expert opinion in matters concerning degenerative, traumatic and oncological spinal conditions, including lumbar and cervical decompression, spinal stabilisation, metastatic spinal cord compression and traumatic neurological deterioration. His work is particularly suited to cases where solicitors require specialist neurosurgical and spinal surgery opinion on injury, treatment, prognosis, operative decision-making and the clinical consequences of spinal trauma or deterioration.

Mr Dhamija’s medico legal practice is supported by formal training in excellence in written evidence, completed in 2025, and is focused on clear, clinically grounded reporting for personal injury litigation.

Clinical Interests

Mr Dhamija’s clinical interests centre on the management of patients with symptomatic spinal pathology requiring specialist neurosurgical assessment and, where appropriate, operative intervention. His practice includes patients with nerve root compression, spinal canal stenosis, disc disease, cervical myelopathy, traumatic spinal instability and spinal metastatic disease, particularly where there is neurological compromise or risk of deterioration.

In day-to-day practice, he is involved in assessing the relationship between clinical symptoms, neurological findings and spinal imaging, identifying cases where decompression, stabilisation or revision surgery may be required. He has a particular interest in complex decision-making around patients with multilevel disease, previous spinal surgery, traumatic injury or metastatic epidural spinal cord compression, where treatment must balance neurological preservation, pain control, spinal stability and functional outcome.

His specialist work also includes exposure to intradural tumour surgery and paediatric spinal procedures within defined fellowship practice, giving him experience of more complex and less routine spinal presentations alongside high-volume adult degenerative and traumatic spinal work.
